Controlling Rhododendron
morverncommunitywoodlands.org.uk has for downloading a review of the revolutionary Lever and Mulch method of Rhododendron control, developed by Gordon French and Donald Kennedy of Lochaline, Argyll. Identifying Archaeological Sites in Woodland
Forestry Commission Scotland have recently published Identifying the historic environment in Scotland's forests and woodlands. Written by Matthew Ritchie and Jonathan Wordsworth, it is a practice guide to enable land managers to investigate, identify and record the historic environment in their woodlands, so that wherever possible these remains are conserved.
